Although technologies and markets have changed dramatically during the last 25 years, the investment principles upon since Sun Venture’s founding in 1998 have not. The Sun Ventures team, all seasoned high-tech executives, always takes a very active and team-oriented approach to helping entrepreneurs throughout every stage of the company-building process.

Technical vision
We examine technology trends, identifying those technologies we believe will transform entire industries. Our emphasis is on what will happen next, what will succeed, and then, what will endure.

Integrity
We mean what we say. In the venture capital world - a world based almost entirely on personal relationships - our word and our good name are our most valuable assets. And in all our relationships, we've consistently placed a premium on honesty and fairness.

A dynamic private sector is essential for the economy. The best hope for sustainable development and poverty reduction in developing countries lies in economic growth. Sun Ventures concentrates on the development of SMEs in emerging markets and on microfinance.

Sun Ventures works closely together with local as well as international parties as an additional investor. By this approach we are able together with others to provide more money for potential investors.

Our interventions must lead, directly or indirectly, to sustainable productive employment, considering environmental criteria and taking into account basic social rights as defined in the basic conventions of the International Labor organization.
